Materials, honestly

Most mouth tape brands tell you what their product does. We would rather show you what it is made of, name our suppliers, and tell you plainly who should not use it. That is the whole page. It is longer than most, because honesty usually is.

The strip

NightWeave strips are a 95% woven cotton textile, not a polyurethane film. Cotton breathes against your skin, flexes with your lips, and releases if you need to open your mouth. Each strip is oval, 30 by 60 millimetres, unscented, and single use.

The adhesive

The adhesive layer is a medical grade, biocompatibility tested adhesive made by Henkel. It is designed to hold gently for a full night and peel away in the morning without residue, sting or a red lip line. The chemistry

  • Hypoallergenic and latex free
  • PFAS free: no forever chemicals against your skin
  • REACH and RoHS compliant materials
  • Drug free: nothing is absorbed, nothing is ingested

Who should not use NightWeave

We would rather lose a sale than pretend this does not matter.

  • Do not use NightWeave if you cannot breathe comfortably through your nose. Try it now: close your lips and breathe through your nose for one minute. If that feels hard, this product is not for you tonight.
  • If you have or suspect sleep apnoea, or any breathing difficulty, talk to a healthcare professional before using any mouth tape.
  • Not for children.
  • Do not use on broken, irritated or freshly treated skin. If you have very reactive skin, test a strip on the back of your hand first.
  • Do not use after consuming alcohol heavily or taking sedatives.

What NightWeave is, and is not

NightWeave is a general wellness product that supports the habit of nasal breathing during sleep. It is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
